Ela Ilham von Schöning is a screenwriter, creator and composer working between Zurich, New York and Munich. German-born with Moroccan heritage, she began her career as an EMI recording artist in Milan before turning her voice to the page — writing character-driven cinema and prestige television with an unmistakable European sensibility.
She focuses on developing commercially viable, character-driven films and series with international appeal — collaborating with studios and production companies to bring emotionally resonant stories to global audiences.
